Loesje van Herp creates beautiful artworks from (dried) flowers and plants from her studio in Maastricht. Her work brings spaces to life in a unique way, with an artistic, romantic, chic, and subtle touch. Hand-stitched flowers become art on the wall, whether on cotton or a woolen throw. It's pure nature, with the flower as the eye-catching element.
Craftsmanship is Loesje's greatest asset, just like Blanche Dael. Loesje shapes wonder with plant-based materials. She employs her skill to achieve her ultimate goal: the enchanting beauty of imperfection.
Loesje has created a unique artwork for the launch of the new Café Unique coffee line. "Six clouds of flowers symbolize the six Café Unique coffee flavors. Together they form a cohesive whole, yet each one is unique," says Loesje. The flower creation can be admired on the first floor of our roastery.
Loesje's favorite Café Unique? "A tough choice! But I'll go with the Peru Chiquibamba. I can clearly taste the deep red cherry. It's truly delicious."
